Dr. Gallardo is a veterinarian with over 25 years of experience in various public service positions. She has served as Undersecretary of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Director of the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service (Sernapesca), President of the APEC Oceans and Fisheries Working Group, and Vice President of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) Aquatic Animal Standards Commission. Recently, Dr. Gallardo was elected by a large majority as President of the WOAH Aquatic Animal Health Standards Commission.

Andreu Rico

Dr. Andreu Rico is a distinguished researcher from the Canavilles Institute of Biodiversity and Evolutive Biology at the University of Valencia (Spain). Dr. Rico obtained his Doctorate at the University of Wageningen (The Netherlands). 
His research is focused on aquatic ecotoxicology centered on ecological risk assessment of veterinarian products used in aquaculture. Dr. Rico has published more than 100 articles. He is an editor of the journal Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry and a member of the Environmental Risk Assessment of the European Medicines Agency.

Gabriel Perrón

Dr. Gabriel G. Perron is an Associate Professor of Biology at Bard College and a Visiting Scientist at NYU's Center for Genomics and Systems Biology in New York City, USA. With an M.Sc. from McGill University and a Ph.D. from the University of Oxford, Dr. Perron's expertise includes food safety, microbial genomics, and the evolution of antibiotic resistance with a focus on these relate to environmental health. Dr. Perron's work has resulted in over 50 peer-reviewed publications in leading international journals and is a regular contributor to public discussions on topics such as environmental health, public health, and food safety. Currently, Dr. Perron's research focuses on investigating the impacts of antimicrobial resistance evolution on human and environmental health with a focus on urban environments.
